Ramsys POS may be run in a special training mode. While in this mode you may practice using the system without corrupting your live data.

To select this mode select "Training Mode" from the Operations menu. The background of the menu and all screens will change colour, all dockets will read "Training Mode" as the location name.

 


When you exit out of the system you will be back into 'Live Mode' when you restart the POS. 


Note: Neither Integrated EftPOS or close down are available in training mode.


Creating the Training Database


To create this facility run the "Create Training in the Programs/Ramsys Windows menu (off the start menu). This will create the directory, build a copy of the empty databases and populate those databases with data from the live system.

Note: You may run this at any time to update the databases.
