Version 10 Contains mostly under the hood improvements to increase the operational functions of the POS.


These improvement include modifications to enhance Cloud communications to Head Office Evolution as well as performance enhancemets to the local POS database

  • Added Filter to Transaction register to filter Consignment Sales

  • Changes to the user interface is now more consistent.
  • Added a half second delay between the creation of a receipt and it being emailed to give some slower PC's time to create the email before it is sent.
  • Added ability to set the system to send emails as attachments rather than embedded.

  • Added POS Communicator will now perform audits on individual transactions to ensure Syncing is complete. This is on top of existing audits to ensure all data has been sent and has arrived correctly. If this audit finds any differences it will correct these automatically. This is an automated process and requires no user intervention.
  • Changes to View update log to better support touch screens

  • Fixed issue where adding a new record (ie stock item) if the search is used on another field there is a possibility the item will not be saved
  • Tidied up save process on all screens
  • Changed - The adjustments screen will now allow you to adjust Qty into negative Qty. You will still be advised that this will result but can now accept this and continue
  • Tidied up Premium Stock, Supplier and SalesPerson screens
  • Added ability to set the system to email receipts as PDF attachments rather than as embedded images

  • Updates to Dashboard to increase interoperability with touch screens

  • Changed font on the receipt docket to enhance view-ability on older printers
  • Added question on banking to record the weather for the day. This is displayed upon certain reports and KPI's to allow tracking and predicting the effect weather has on sales
  • Added ability to ask customer a user defined question (ie which Country/City are you from)

10.9.5

  • Statements may now be emailed directly from the system. it is also possible to have a copy sent to you.
  • New Feature. It is now possible to park a receipt and recall it later for completion. Park receipts will not update stocklvls and will not be sent to Head Office Evolution.
    • The Areas requiring attention report will show all parked receipts still outstanding.
  • Account Balance removed from A4 sale invoice

  • Moved Age restricted sales from master control to stock. You can now ask for age approval by stock item. Age may be set 0 to 99.

  • Changes to Daily Ranking figures for customers with a high level of non stock items.
