Logging a Service

To Log a Service enter or search for the service loaded. 

If you use the search function you will be asked if you only want to see incomplete Jobs, this will assist you by minimising the number of records.



On the left you will see a detailed list of all steps, you will by default be placed on the first available unproccessed step. 

The following may be entered


  • Comments (Optional)

Tap on the comments box to add any relevant notes. If your device supports it, you may speak into the comments box, and your speech will be converted to text.


  • Add Image:

If your device has a camera and the free Microsoft Camera app installed, tap this option to load the camera app. You can then take a photo, which will be optimized and connected to the current step in this service. The image will be printed on the inspection sheet.


  • Step Result:

Select whether the step Passed, Failed, or if it's not applicable. You will be automatically advanced to the next step after selecting a result.


Navigation:

By default, you will be placed on the first available unprocessed step.

Use the <Prev Step> and <Next Step> buttons to navigate through the steps. Alternatively, tap the desired step in the left-hand grid to select it.


Tap the <Current Step> button at any time to go to the first available unprocessed step.


Saving and Resuming

You can save the service at any time and resume later.

Upon saving, if you have entered a step result for every line, you will be asked if you wish to close the service. Select Yes if you are done.


NOTE: 

Closed services are ready to be invoiced. You will still be able to inquire about them but will no longer be able to edit them.
